Pre-Appointment Instructions
Prep is only required for Permanent Brow Services (microblading, combination, powder brows).
Please make sure to read the below instructions PRIOR to scheduling an appointment:
I recommend all clients shower BEFORE their appointment; it is most ideal to not wet the brows for 24 hours after the service is completed.
-
Be advised that you will need to avoid direct sun exposure (i.e. pools, beach, tanning, etc.) and any activity where your brows will be submerged in water for long periods of time; this will need to be for the next two weeks after your appointment
-
Avoid any blood thinners (fish oil, ibuprofen, aspirin, and NSAIDS) at least 3 days before, and one day after your appointment. Please avoid alcohol and caffeine (coffee, tea, and sodas) the day of your appointment
-
Avoid excess sweating and steam (i.e. saunas, hot baths, hot tubs) for the first week after the appointment
-
Avoid tanning and tanning beds at least one week before the appointment; this will not only cause the area to be extremely sensitive, but it can also lighten the results significantly
-
Avoid waxing your brows at least 1 week before your appointment
-
Avoid retinols, vitamin C serum, and any other harsh facial or acne treatments 2 weeks prior to appointment
-
Cancer patients and those who have a history of cancer or radiation treatments are recommended to wait at least 3 months and to consult your physician before getting the service
-
If you are pregnant, it is recommended you wait at least 3 months after giving birth to get the service. If breastfeeding, it is recommended you consult your doctor before making an appointment
